Todos los detalles, actuaciones y ganadores de la gala de los Billboard Awards 2013
Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Taylor Swift o David Guetta recogieron sus premios entre dieciséis actuaciones diferentes
En la noche de ayer la ciudad de Las Vegas acogió la entrega de los Billboard Awards 2013, erigiéndose Taylor Swift como principal triunfadora, con nada más y nada menos que ocho estatuillas, seguida por Rihanna, Nicki Minaj o Madonna, entre otros.
Sobre las categorías que más nos conciernen, RiRi acaparó la categoría de R&B llevándose los tres premios a los que optaba, además del de mejor artista radiofónica. Por otra parte, Nicki Minaj fue protagonista en Rap como mejor artista y mejor álbum con “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded”. No obstante, otros artistas tuvieron su momento de gloria, como Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, siendo reconocida “Thrift Shop” como mejor canción de Rap del año. Además, cabe mencionar a Justin Bieber, que además de actuar dos veces durante la noche, fue nombrado mejor artista masculino y mejor artista a elección del público del año.
Ya en otros géneros, no faltaron en la gala fenómenos sociales como el “Harlem shake” de Baauer, “Ai se eu te pego” o PSY con su revolucionario “Gangnam style” u otros muchos éxitos del año como “Call me maybe” o “Somebody that I used to know”.
No pudo ser la noche de artistas como Wiz Khalifa, Flo Rida, Bruno Mars o Britney Spears que, a pesar de estar nominados en varias categorías, se fueron de vacío.
En lo que a actuaciones se refiere, casi veinte temas fueron los que sonaron en directo en el MGM Grand, con nombres tan destacados como Chris Brown, Prince, Pitbull junto a Christina Aguilera, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj con baile erótico a Lil Wayne, will.i.am, Justin Bieber o David Guetta, entre otros. La anécdota de la noche fue protagonizada por Miguel cuando tras un salto mientras interpretaba “Adorn” aterrizó sobre dos espectadoras que afortunadamente resultaron ilesas.
