Back to usual programming with a lot of heat that came out in early 2019.

Pardison Fontaine – Rodman

This is a certified banger with a basketball reference, deep voice and flexing wordplay; reminding me of ‘Mo Mamba’ and though probably less catchy, but this is more of my vibe. I first heard of Pardison two years ago but he’s been grinding and improving with songs that go hard and impress with realness and wordplay in the lyrics. I am hoping for more great music from him with that strong new East Coast vibe.

I’ma come clean, ‘causee they left me filthy
Only got stronger ‘cause it didn’t kill me
Now fuck all them niggas that ain’t on the vibe
Act like they are, but they not on my side
I went to a funeral and nobody cried”

Sean Leon – Winner

I featured Sean Leon’s before and I am impressed with his work ethic and constant improvement and experimentation in his art. This song has motivational vibes over a melodic and autotune enhanced flow. He recently made a guest feature on the Beats Radio ‘The New Toronto’ episode talking about the state of Toronto rap scene and premiered this track, a great episode shedding light on new talent from the city.

J Cole – Middle Child

Math from my favorite rapper. J Cole comes through with a superb track and a cool video to back it, rapping about feeling as the ‘middle child’ in the current rap world.

Boogie fear JID – Soho

The Shady artist from Compton, Boogie, released a solid debut album called ‘Everything for Sale’ and this is my favorite track on it. I love the JID feature and my favorite part  is when the beat changes at the end with Boogie spitting retrospective realness for the outro.

Nipsey Hussle feat Roddy Ricch, Hit-Boy – Racks in the Middle

A really dope track including some of LA’s dopest and very different artists. Roddy Ricch really stands out here with his melodic sing song flow and the way he just exudes the sound of agreement ‘Mhmmm’ at the end of the verses is fresh.

Pardison Fontaine – Madden Flow

Another Pardison track as part of his recent new album teasers. This is straight up spit with Pardison laying it all out to show what he has been feeling, this being more of a personal song. Still goes hard.
